The Summer Internship Programme (SIP) at the institute offers students an invaluable 8-week internship experience between their second and third semesters. The primary objectives of the SIP include:

Deepening their understanding of their chosen field.
Identifying relevant job roles within their domain and the skills required for them.
Gaining practical corporate experience to better prepare them for their future careers.

During the summer, students are placed in various industries, firms, and companies for the internship. This program not only bridges the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application but also enhances the skill sets and expertise necessary for success in the corporate environment. It provides students with an opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of the business world, develop teamwork skills, and grasp the expectations of their clients and customers. The program focuses on not just learning but also on performance within an organization, with the potential for securing a Pre-Placement Offer (PPO), which significantly boosts their chances of securing a job placement.

Upon completion of the internship, students present their projects and work to corporate leaders, showcasing the contributions they made to their respective organizations. These presentations, followed by Q&A sessions, allow students to demonstrate the skills and knowledge they acquired, as well as their impact on the company’s success. This process also helps them build practical knowledge and confidence.
